# OutDare

> OutDare is a free paragliding app: a worldwide map of 13,900+ flying sites with live flyability verdicts, weather forecasts and alerts when conditions match.

OutDare (also written OUT DARE) is the paragliding app at outdare.app, for iOS, Android, Apple Watch and the web. It is free: no ads, no subscription, no paywall, and no account needed to check conditions or set an alert. The app and this site are available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Portuguese.

- Flying sites: 13,900+ takeoffs and 6,900+ landings in 135 countries and territories, bundled in the app so the map works offline, including 1,200+ DHV-verified German sites.
- Flyability: a flyable-or-not verdict for every site, tuned to the pilot's own wind range, gust tolerance and wing (900+ wings with per-wing wind limits), with alerts when a saved site turns flyable.
- Forecasts: each site is routed to the best high-resolution regional model (AROME, ICON-D2, UKV, MET Nordic, HRRR), with a confidence signal from model agreement.
- In the air: flight recorder with audio vario, thermal assistant, spoken callouts, 3D replay, XC scoring, IGC import and export, XContest claim, Apple Watch recording.
- Safety: a live tracking link anyone can open in a browser, automatic SOS after a hard landing (emergency contacts and pilots within 40 km), an ICE QR helmet sticker, airspace and power-line layers.
- Compared with other apps: XCTrack and FlySkyHy are in-flight instruments for cross-country and competition flying; Gaggle is an all-round recorder with strong group features; Paragliding Map is a site database with webcams.
