Where it is
Adolzfurt Hälden is a west-facing launch at about 365 m set in a forest clearing, with a short run-up before lift-off past a thorn hedge and then some tall posts further along — launches only happen at wind speeds from 3 m/s and from 240° to 280°, and flying only proceeds in coordination with the site holder. Tandem pilots need a documented briefing on local conditions before their first flight and have to demonstrate sufficient flight experience and canopy control, with launches only in a clean 12–15 km/h headwind from around 260°. The site has two landing fields: the main one, and a second, narrow one that slopes continuously toward the west and north — landing there works best in its upper, flatter section, and it's reserved for practiced pilots holding the full pilot license with plenty of flight experience, since it's a small, sloping target; tandem landings aren't possible there at all. Pilots planning to use that second field need their own documented briefing beforehand and must prove they can land safely on tight, sloping ground, and it's only approached when wind conditions genuinely allow a safe descent.
