Where it is
Monte Nerone Startplatz 1 launches at 1,372 m in the Marche Apennines, right in front of the mountain's summit plateau, on what locals describe as a genuinely beautiful grassy launch. Like the mountain's other launch points, this one benefits from an access road that brings pilots comfortably by car, so no hike is needed to reach take-off. The recorded wind here is from the east or south, a different exposure from Monte Nerone's other launch points, which is exactly the point of a mountain with multiple take-offs facing different directions: pilots can pick whichever side matches the day's wind. Landing is in the fields west of Serravalle di Carda, the same shared landing zone used across the mountain's launches, giving a clear, familiar target once airborne. Between the drive-up access, the grassy launch surface and the east/south exposure, this is a pleasant, low-friction option on days when the wind favours that side of Monte Nerone rather than its other faces.

Getting there & local rules
