Getting between launch and the valley station is a genuine hassle, though: the landing field is over 2 km uphill from the lift, so it's worth organising a lift in advance — there's a year-round scheduled bus service, and the local flying school also runs its own shuttle. Note that the mountain railway currently does not carry hang-gliders, though that was expected to change. Landing is at the large field in Bach, but it can turn genuinely turbulent in a valley wind because of nearby buildings and trees — and parking or camping at the landing field is no longer allowed, since it's private property.
