Bernau – Innerlehen (Lehenköpfle)

Bernau-Innerlehen (Lehenköpfle) is a paragliding launch in Germany with a simple meadow takeoff, sitting at around 1,140 m and flying in southeast wind. Flying is only permitted by arrangement with the local flying school rather than as an open walk-up launch, so plan ahead rather than showing up expecting to fly on your own schedule. There's a livestock hazard worth knowing before you go: cattle graze the takeoff area, and launching is off-limits whenever cows are present. Getting there means parking at the cemetery parking lot and walking in from there — no direct vehicle access to the launch itself.
