Hang glider pilots towing from the winch use a dedicated launch cart. On hill launches here, watch the wind direction closely: any southerly component brings a real risk of lee turbulence. The site also sits close to Allendorf airfield's radio-mandatory zone, so visiting-pilot radio and airspace rules need to be observed. Guests are welcome, but a briefing is required before your first flight.
