Habach

Habach is a German paragliding site at about 740 m, launching northeast, with landing at the dedicated Habach Landeplatz. Flying here isn't open access: it requires permission from, and consultation with, a flying school, so this is a managed rather than a walk-up site. There are two launch options with different rules attached. From the lower, 40-metre takeoff, the lift station sits directly within the glide path — a real hazard that student pilots specifically need to be briefed on before flying from there. The upper, 95-metre takeoff is off-limits for basic paragliding training flights altogether, which points to it being the more demanding of the two. Between the permission requirement and the two-tier launch setup, this reads as a site built around structured, supervised flying rather than independent visits.
