Oberaltenbernheim

Oberaltenbernheim is a practice slope at 380 m in Germany, flown on south and southwest winds, but it's not a beginner's first-flight hill — the site is explicitly for advanced beginners who already have turning flight and crosswind landings under control, not absolute newcomers. Access is tightly restricted to a single plot of land, and pilots must not overfly any neighboring or other properties, so staying inside that boundary is a hard rule here, not a suggestion. Hang gliders and tandem (two-seat) flights aren't permitted at this site at all — it's paraglider solo-flight training only. Between the plot restriction, the ban on tandem flights and the explicit skill bar for anyone training here, this is a site for pilots a step past their very first solo flights, used specifically to build on skills they've already started to acquire.
