Reisenmoor

Reisenmoor is a winch-tow flatland site in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, at about 50 m, favorable with wind from the northeast or southwest. Access is unusually tightly restricted: flying here is capped at a maximum of six flying days per year in total, so this is a site to plan a visit around rather than a place to fly regularly. The site closes completely from 15 March through 30 April. Through May and June, flying near the breeding areas and the central wildlife enclosure is only permitted at an altitude of at least 1,000 m, and flying low over those areas is never allowed at any time of year. Every pilot needs a briefing from the site operator on the specifics of the terrain before their first launch here, which matters given how tightly the ecological rules shape when and how flying happens.
