Göriach

Göriach is a training-suitable paragliding site above the Drautal in Austria, at about 1,323 m and facing south to southwest, with the grass launch sitting above Göriach behind Tröbach. Access here isn't open to everyone: use of the launch is currently restricted to an affiliated local flying school and club, so this isn't a site to turn up at cold without a connection to one of them. For pilots who do have access, the site asks for the basics that keep it usable long-term — stick to the official launch and landing meadows rather than improvising a line, and park only in the designated parking areas rather than along the approach roads. Landing is at Göriach Landeplatz 1. Being rated training-suitable makes it a solid, structured option for pilots working with a school, rather than a free-fly mountain for independent visitors.
