Am Luftschiff Schleppstrecke N – S

This is the north-south leg of the same flatland winch-tow strip near Freyburg in Saxony-Anhalt, flown when the wind comes from the north, southeast, south or northwest. As with its east-west counterpart, farming takes priority — winch training only happens over harvested fields, and the surrounding rules exist purely to keep flying compatible with agriculture and the roads nearby. Pilots stay at least 50 m clear of the adjacent B176 highway, avoid damaging vegetation on field-path verges by parking on them, and keep support vehicles off the B176, L179 and L205 on flying days. Habitat-compensation work linked to the ongoing B176 expansion in the area must be left undisturbed too. Fields and tow paths get left exactly as found once flying wraps for the day, litter cleared along with it. A working strip built around a straight tow line, not a mountain view.
