This is the east-west leg of a flatland winch-tow strip near Freyburg in Saxony-Anhalt, worked when the wind sits anywhere from northeast through east or southwest through west. Farming comes first here — the tow only runs on harvested fields, and every rule on the books exists to keep flying from getting in the way of agriculture and road traffic. That means staying at least 50 m clear of the adjacent B176 highway, leaving field-path verges and their vegetation undamaged by parked vehicles, and never blocking the B176, L179 or L205 with support vehicles on a flying day. Ongoing habitat-compensation work tied to the B176's road expansion nearby must not be disturbed either. Every flying day ends with the tow paths and fields left as they were found, litter included.
