Where it is
Beutnitz Übungshang 1 is the first of several linked launch points at this flight school's training slope in Germany, sitting at around 245 metres and set up for wind from the northeast or east. Like its neighbouring launch points on the same hillside, it comes with rules built to protect the land around it: flying must not disturb the neighbouring fields, the vegetation on the slope itself has to be respected, and the whole area needs to be kept free of litter after every session. Facing northeast and east gives this particular launch point a different usable window than the other Beutnitz slopes nearby, which cover different directions. As with the rest of this training complex, it's run through the flight school rather than open to casual use, so flying here happens on a scheduled basis rather than by just showing up. It's a straightforward, low-drama slope built for repeated short training flights.
