Where it is
Derdinger Horn – Obere Rieth – Weinberg is a southwest-facing launch at 310 m in Germany, and it's a members-first site: visiting pilots may only launch with a club member present to give permission. Vehicles must stay at the parking area by the access road — none are allowed at the launch itself. The site runs on a tight quota: flying is capped at 40 days a year, and no more than 5 pilots may use the launch on any given flying day. Operations are also expected to avoid disturbing local recreation and the use of the surrounding Bernhardsweiherer valley wherever that's avoidable, and vehicles unloading gear must stay on the designated tracks rather than driving off them.
