Eschbach

Eschbach is a southeast-facing launch open only to members of the local flying club, and only after a site briefing — there's no guest flying here at all. Landing depends on how much height a pilot has in hand: the lower of the two landing meadows only gets used when it can be approached with plenty of altitude to spare, and otherwise pilots divert to the upper meadow just below the launch area, avoiding an outside landing wherever possible. Training flights only happen once a student already has solid turning flight and hill-landing skills under their belt. Every flight gets logged — pilot name, date and time — and mixed operations sharing the sky with local model aircraft need coordination in advance, with the landowners' consent underpinning both activities.
