Hintereck

Hintereck is a German paragliding site at about 990 m, launching west, with landing at the demanding Hintereck Landeplatz Kraftwerk field. There's a hard seasonal rule to know before you plan a trip: flying is closed until 1 July every year to protect nesting peregrine falcons, so this is strictly a summer-onward site, not a spring option. Airspace-wise, the area around the Rabenfelsen may not be overflown at all — treat that as a fixed no-fly zone rather than something to skirt close to. The main landing field, Kraftwerk, is rated demanding rather than beginner-friendly, though there's an alternative landing available on the slope opposite if conditions make the main field impractical on the day. Between the closure, the no-fly zone and the tricky main landing, this reads as a site for pilots comfortable planning around real constraints rather than a casual first stop.
