Kuchalb (Schlepp und Hang)

Kuchalb is a German winch and flatland site at about 695 m, with an east-west wind window, offering genuinely good thermal conditions for the terrain type — good enough that it works as a starting point for cross-country flights rather than just short tow-and-land sessions. Flight operations here are organised by a local flying school, so this is a managed site with structure around it rather than a completely independent one. Parking is behind the village, in the direction of Tegelhof, an easy landmark to navigate to. Landing is at the Kuchalb Tallandung, the valley landing field.
