Nonroder Höhe Hangstart

Nonroder Höhe is a training slope (Übungshang) near the village of Nonrod, with about 44 m of height difference and a west-facing launch at roughly 351 m — the kind of small, forgiving hill that schools use to build the basic skills before students move to bigger sites. It's not a free-for-all: the ground is privately farmed, and pilots need to coordinate use with the person who holds the land before showing up. Training only runs in weather conditions that actually suit students, which keeps the site's character genuinely beginner-friendly rather than a bigger hill in disguise. Winch tow launches are also flown here, but only toward the west, released no higher than 150 m above the ground. Cars stay off the takeoff access road; only pilots picking up gear at the landing zone get a brief, immediate exception.
