Pig Mountain

Pig Mountain is a German paragliding site at about 430 m, just three minutes from the Regensburg–Passau motorway at the Wörth Ost exit — about as easy to reach by car as a flying site gets. Launch works across a fairly wide window, from a weak westerly through southwest, south and southeast. Two rules apply once you're there: pilots must keep at least 50 metres of distance from the wooded area that borders the landing field to the south, and flying after 19:30 isn't permitted, so plan an evening session to wrap up before then rather than after. Landing is at the dedicated Pig Mountain Landeplatz. Between the fast motorway access and the wide launch window, it's a convenient after-work option — provided you're airborne with time to spare before the evening cutoff.
