Wohlde

Wohlde is a flatland winch-tow site in the far north of Germany, close to sea level, flyable in an east or west wind. Hang glider pilots are explicitly welcome alongside paragliders here, though the source notes that towing currently happens only rarely, so it's worth checking locally whether the field is active before planning a visit. The safety rules are built around the tow rope and nearby road traffic: the field's boundaries can't be overflown while still hooked to the tow line, and for launches in the 280° direction there's a minimum distance from the winch before release height can be reached. To keep the tow line from becoming a hazard to road traffic, wind speed at a 300 m tow height in that direction is capped at 30 km/h, dropping the allowed tow height by 100 m for every additional 10 km/h of wind. A specialized flatland winch field rather than a general-access site — check current activity before heading up.
