Season
XC Mag gives two seasons, December to March and July to September, and says about 60% of days are flyable even in the winter rainy season. Weather models are hard to read here: the model grid catches showers over the mountains, so model rain numbers look much worse than what pilots report, and we don't show them here. Fly in the morning and early afternoon.
Flying
El Pico, the most flown launch, is at about 1,800 m and the landing at about 950 m, so you have around 850 m of height. Los Tanques is at about 1,700 m. Airspace is limited to 9,000 ft to the south-east and 10,000 ft to the north.
