Two small datasets for research, reporting and reuse: measured forecast scores and anonymous monthly counts of recorded flights at launches.

No flight tracks, pilot names, account information or user IDs are published. The monthly launch threshold is 20 flights, not 20 distinct pilots.
Paragliding forecast accuracy by weather model and country
Wind forecast scores grouped by model and launch country, from the same measurement table as /proof.

Method notes
Only auto-routed forecasts served by the app (model names start with auto:) with both forecast and station wind are included. Each row is a model and country pair. checks is the number of comparisons; within_5_kmh_pct is the percentage with absolute wind error at most 5 km/h; mae_kmh is mean absolute error. Countries come from the site catalogue, never a latitude/longitude box. Unmapped countries and missing errors are excluded. Dates describe the retained measurement window, which rolls forward as old checks expire. Station types are pooled, so scores reflect their mix and are not a controlled model ranking. No raw station readings are exported.
Busiest paragliding launches by month
Anonymous counts of saved OutDare flights per launch and completed UTC calendar month, limited to sites with at least 20 flights that month.

Method notes
Only flights judged confirmed or attested are counted, using their matched launch ID. These are recorded OutDare flights, not all flights at a site or unique pilots. Coordinates are site coordinates rounded to 3 decimals. DHV provenance is excluded, including numeric IDs, using a source-only index from the app bundle dated 4 November 2026. Unknown sources are excluded unless the current FFVL link establishes provenance. The current FFVL status excludes forbidden sites; linked landings are excluded. Official FFVL names and coordinates take priority for French sites. Sites needing permission may remain in the historical counts; this is not permission to fly. The non-FFVL catalogue may omit new or unmatched sites. Each refresh rebuilds the eligible history, so deletions, corrections and closures can change older counts.
