Zugerberg

Zugerberg is a flat, forgiving launch meadow above Zug, with top-landing possible right at the site and a small 2 CHF fee payable on arrival. It's reached by cable railway, with the take-off about a 10-minute walk from the top station and the landing zone a similar distance the other way; parking near launch is also an option if you'd rather drive up. The one airspace fact every pilot needs is TMA14 out of Zurich (LSZH), which sits just north of launch, with the landing zone lying directly beneath it — check current status before flying. Wind-wise, this is a clean no-go site in Föhn or Bise conditions; skip the day rather than push it. At the landing meadow, follow the windsock to find the right spot to come in, and whatever you do, don't park a vehicle there.
