Dachstein

Dachstein is a south to southwest-facing hill in the Rhön region of Germany, at about 600 m, run by the local hang gliding and paragliding club. Access here is deliberately restricted: flying is only permitted for pilots holding a full, unrestricted pilot license, and passenger flights and training flights are both explicitly not allowed. That combination makes it a site for independent, licensed pilots rather than a place to learn or take a tandem passenger. A firm clearance rule protects the weekend houses near the site: pilots must keep a vertical distance of at least 50 m from them throughout the flight, with the only exception being a somewhat lower margin permitted briefly during the launch phase itself.
