DM-Arena is an unofficial groundhandling field near Karlsruhe, Germany, at around 117 metres, flat and open enough to work with wind from any direction. Being unofficial, there's no long-term guarantee this space stays available, so treating the field and any onlookers with respect is what keeps it usable — that's the deal, implicitly, for everyone who trains here. One hazard worth taking seriously: there's a golf driving range just to the north, and stray balls are a real enough concern that a helmet should stay on at all times, with cars parked a safe distance from that side of the field.
