The defining fact about this particular launch is its long seasonal closure: flying from Silberberg is banned every year from 1 December through 30 June, protecting local wildlife and nesting birds through winter and into early summer — that's more than half the year off-limits, so plan around it. Outside that window, from July through November, the site is open as normal.
