Sonderlandeplatz Bürstadt II

Sonderlandeplatz Bürstadt II, at about 88 m facing south to southwest, is a hang-glider aerotow site rather than a general paragliding launch — pilots are towed up behind a Moyes Dragonfly ultralight, and guest hang-glider pilots are genuinely welcome to fly here. Flight operations run on a fixed daily window: nothing before two hours after sunrise, and everything wrapped up at least two hours before sunset. Two areas are strictly off-limits to overflight: the bird protection zone bordering the site to the south, registered as "Wälder der südl. hessischen Oberrheinebene," and the wetlands to the northeast, which are a planned nature reserve. On top of that, ordinary farming on the land next to the airfield must not be restricted by flight activity, so pilots are expected to keep clear of working fields. It's a structured, tow-based operation with real conservation boundaries around it, not a casual local hill.
