Staudernheim / Boos sits at 211 m in Germany, a low, easy-access site open to east and southeast winds — comfortable territory for pilots who don't want a big mountain launch. The official Boos/Staudernheim landing field sits right alongside it, and guest pilots are explicitly welcome to fly here. Like a number of rural German sites shared with wildlife, it carries a strict seasonal rule: flying is closed every year from 1 April to 30 June for bird protection, covering both the launch and the landing field, and pilots are asked to look after the vegetation on both areas rather than trample it. Access is on foot from a car park below the launch — please don't drive a vehicle directly up to the takeoff, which keeps the track usable for everyone. Outside the closed season, it's a relaxed, low-altitude spot rather than a technical one.
