Übungshang Im Eldern

Übungshang Im Eldern is a dedicated training slope with about 42 m of height difference, and it's only usable by arrangement with the site holder — not a casual walk-up hill. The rules around it are strict about the surrounding land: pilots must never enter the neighbouring fields, full stop, and if an off-field landing ever becomes unavoidable, the immediate priority is to carry a hang glider straight to the designated pack-up area, or gather up a paraglider immediately and bring it to the approved zone, rather than lingering on private land. Driving up requires prior arrangement with the site holder or air-traffic supervision, and parking is limited to the small track south of the landing field — never on public paths, and no vehicles at all on public traffic areas. General nature-protection rules also apply: wildlife and their habitats must not be willfully disturbed.
