Uissigheim Ost – West

Uissigheim Ost – West is a tow site on the same plateau near Uissigheim in Germany, with a 1,400 m payout-winch tow line and launches facing east or west. Like the area's other tow sites, it's thermally active enough to produce lift even in late winter. Vehicles park in the village. During towing, the path joining from the south near elevation point 335.8 has to be secured by suitable means for the duration of each tow, and the site's flight operations follow the regulation set for the nearby Tauberbischofsheim gliding airfield, 4.7 km away, which forms part of the permit to fly here.
