Wildhang

Wildhang is a grass slope training site in Westphalia, Germany, on a former sledding and skiing hill, set up for east to southeast wind. Guest pilots can use it by arranging access with the local flight school in advance for a small fee — this isn't an open, unsupervised site. Vehicle access is kept deliberately minimal: pilots are asked to avoid driving up the access road at all where possible, and parking away from the designated areas — including near the training meadow itself — isn't allowed. The one exception is during an organized training session, when the vehicle carrying the group's equipment may use the access path and park there for the duration. It's a straightforward, low-key spot built around supervised practice rather than free-flying, so check in with the school before planning a visit.
