Farshid 2 (Eagle Eyes) is the beginner-friendly member of the Farshid trio on the western Zagros south-west of Isfahan. At 2,380 m, it has enough space to launch in almost any direction, with two paraglider paths that let two pilots take off at once — and beginner pilots can launch here safely, either supervised or solo. There is a separate horizontal paramotor takeoff nearby. Autumn and summer give the best flying, and spring is described locally as exceptional; south wind provides smooth non-turbulent thermals and long durations.

Launch & conditions

Big launch area at 2,380 m — two paraglider paths allow two pilots to launch at once, and the space allows takeoffs in any desired direction. A separate paramotor takeoff sits at ~2,420 m on a big flat radius. Beginner pilots can take off easily here.

Getting there & local rules

Step 1: Esfahan (Isfahan) to Zarin Shahr by car or taxi. Step 2: Zarin Shahr to Borujen; about 3 km before the Fajr tunnel, on the left, you can see the site. Roughly 30–35 minutes. Landings: land almost anywhere, but the best is the path on the left-hand side (visible from takeoff). Novice and intermediate pilots can top-land easily.

Local rules & hazards

Site is remote and lonely — treat launch seriously. Beginners can be radio-guided from launch to landing on their first visits with a local instructor.
