Ceta

Ceta launches from the top south side of the Alpe di Ceta at about 1,530 m, where a corridor free of trees and cables runs straight toward the main thermal source, passing over the lower easternmost houses of the settlement. Because it's east-facing, it works best in the morning, holding good lift roughly up to midday before the sun angle moves past it. Wind here follows the typical valley pattern, with Föhn effects to watch for, and the site's own guidance is specific: use this takeoff only with a south-side pressure difference of roughly 0 to 4 hPa, and treat a north wind as genuinely dangerous rather than merely suboptimal — this is not a launch to try in the wrong flow. Checking the wind and Föhn forecast beforehand isn't optional here. For a morning thermal run with a clean corridor to the lift, it's a good option as long as the pressure and wind direction line up.
