Where it is
Schynige Platte (Kamel / Chrüterwand) above Interlaken is a WNW-facing site — because of that orientation, reasonable flying only starts after 16:00. If there are no commercial tandem pilots on the train up, conditions are almost certainly unsuitable. Two takeoffs: 'Kamel' less than 10 minutes' walk from the Breitlauenen train station, and 'Chrüterwand' — very steep, seldom used these days. Interlaken airspace is complex with a helicopter base at the airport — special flight rules apply.
