Bucherhang

Bucherhang is an east-facing slope in Germany, flying in northeast or east wind at around 900 m. The site is explicitly suited to training and ground-handling as well as regular flying, making it a versatile spot for pilots at different stages rather than a narrow specialist site. In northeast wind with thermals present, pilots can climb out well here rather than just sledding down, so it offers real flying beyond the basics once conditions cooperate.
