Where it is
Sierra de Pejines is regarded as an excellent school site near Toledo, Spain, at 867 m, with easy launches on nearly every orientation except south — only missing a south-facing takeoff from an otherwise complete set. Ridge-soaring and thermal-ridge conditions run well through spring and summer, and landings are easy on a gentle slope, reinforcing the site's reputation as a place to learn. Access is from the Pulgar–Noez road, where several tracks branch off to the right, each leading to a different usable face of the hill; from the parking area, the final approach to launch is on foot. The one hazard worth knowing: in strong wind, watch for lee-side turbulence and a venturi effect that forms at the east-facing takeoff — conditions that are fine for a school day can turn sharp there once the wind picks up.

Launches cover nearly every orientation except south, and are considered easy — this is a genuine school site. Watch for the venturi effect at the east-facing takeoff in strong wind.
