Klosters – Gotschnagrat offers two takeoffs reached by gondola in the Swiss canton of Graubünden: the South launch, at 2,300 m, is about a 7-minute walk from the gondola station (following the ski slope in winter) and is considered the easy option, with a windsock to check conditions; the North launch, at 2,280 m, is just 3 minutes away and works for soaring and top-landing when the north wind is moderate. Watch for a cable near the launch area on the way up. Landing zones differ between summer and winter down in Klosters, and if you're heading toward Davos instead, note that the 'Seewiese' landing zone near the lake there is currently closed. One thing worth knowing well in advance: the entire airspace over the Davos/Klosters region shuts down completely during the World Economic Forum each year, so check the dates before planning a trip around that time of year.
