Where it is
Sant Pere de Torelló launches from around 1,147 m in Catalonia, reached by driving from Barcelona toward Vic, continuing past Vic towards Olot, and exiting at Torelló — after the roundabout, head toward Sant Pere de Torelló and look for the Bellmunt Sanctuary as your landmark. The road brings you to within about 30 m of takeoff, with car parking right there. The launch itself is grass but steeply tilted, so a controlled, deliberate launch technique matters more here than at a gentler site. Wind works from south and southwest. One hazard is worth real attention: when the wind comes in crossed rather than straight onto the slope, this becomes a genuinely dangerous lee situation. The site flies year-round, though spring is considered the best season. Landing is a green meadow with a windsock near the village, and there's plenty of open land between takeoff and landing to use if you don't quite make the official landing field.
