Los caballos

Los Caballos is a thermal, soaring and cross-country site in Monagas state, Venezuela, near Caripe, launching at about 1,242 m in north or south wind. The takeoff is notably spacious — up to ten paragliders can lay out and launch at the same time, which makes it a good site for group flying days without the usual queue at launch. It also works well for hike-and-fly. Landing is flexible too: an easy top-landing option sits right at launch, and there are also several valley landing areas to choose from below, giving pilots options depending on how the flight develops.
