High-voltage cables cross the area near the site, so it's worth keeping that firmly in mind on any low pass. Wind from the north, northwest, northeast or east is a firm no-fly here; the usable window runs from southeast through west. Landing is at a medium-low-difficulty field next to the SA-RC motorway, near the Pontecagnano service area. To reach take-off, leave the SA-RC motorway (A30) at the San Mango Piemonte exit, then head toward Castiglione del Genovesi. Pilots on-site commonly use LPD channel 9 for radio contact with each other.
